RIW Construction Attorney Bradley Croft to Join Panel on Prompt Payment Act

On Wednesday, January 13, RIW Litigation Department Chair Bradley Croft will join a panel of other prominent construction industry lawyers for a discussion on the impact of his recently decided case enforcing the Massachusetts Prompt Payment Act. In a case of first impression, the Massachusetts Superior Court ordered a real estate developer to pay a general contractor over $5 million based on its failure to reject the contractor’s payment applications in accordance with the requirements of the law.
