RIW shareholders Eric Sigman and Ari Stern recently attended the American Bar Association’s 46th Annual Forum on Franchising, held in Dallas, Texas. Eric and Ari joined a distinguished gathering of leaders in franchise law, contributing to and gaining insights from dynamic sessions that addressed a broad spectrum of issues shaping the future of franchise law.
Eric’s franchise law practice includes representing multi-unit franchisees, areas developers and franchisors in connection with franchise agreement negotiations, franchise disclosure document drafting, analysis and review, commercial real estate, retail leasing, corporate formation and any related business counseling.
Ari represents franchise owners and operators in complex disputes, approaching each situation with an eye toward helping clients achieve their interests. Ari’s work in litigation, arbitration and mediation often involves claims of unfair and deceptive acts and practices, fraudulent inducement, negligent misrepresentation, breach of contract, breach of the implied covenant of good faith and fair dealing, and violations of franchise law.
