RIW is pleased to announce that Christopher Agostino has joined the firm as an associate in the Corporate and Business Law Group. Mr. Agostino concentrates his practice in business law where he advises clients in a variety of transactions including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, entity formation, commercial finance, creditors’ rights in bankruptcy, secured transactions, intellectual property licensing and commercial leases.
Mr. Agostino also has experience in land use law and has successfully represented clients in proceedings before state and local permitting and regulatory agencies, including the Massachusetts Housing Appeals Committee where he has acted as counsel to clients in all phases of comprehensive permit development under G.L. c. 40B, §§ 20-23.
Mr. Agostino is a graduate of The College of William and Mary in Virginia and a graduate, cum laude, from Suffolk University Law School. While attending law school, Mr. Agostino was a member of the Moot Court Honor Board, the National Italian American Bar Association and the Suffolk University Law School Hockey Team.
Mr. Agostino has been recognized by Martindale Hubbell as an AV® peer review rated attorney. He is admitted to practice in all state courts in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts. Mr. Agostino is a member of the American Bar Association.
