Our clients are a family that had been sued by a general contractor in 2018 claiming he was owed additional monies after he walked-off a major home renovation project three-quarters of the way through.
We not only defeated the general contractor on his claims, but were also awarded a money judgment on counterclaims for breach of contract, breach of warranty, breach of the home improvement contractor law and a violation of Mass. Gen. Laws c. 93A, the so-called “consumer protection statute.”
