Congratulations to RIW President Bradley Croft for being named Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly Go To Construction Lawyer! To be considered for this list, an attorney must be an expert in their field with a proven track record, widely respected for their expertise in the law, trusted with referrals from peers, and known for creative, client-focused problem-solving.
Brad’s construction practice focuses on representing general contractors, developers and owners at every stage of the project life cycle, including project design and development, contract drafting, completion and dispute resolution. Among his more recent matters, Brad secured a multi-million-dollar recovery for the developer of a modular condominium project in a case involving defective construction, defended a global athletic shoe company in a payment dispute involving the construction of its world headquarters, and advised an international glass manufacturer on contested warranty claims for two Boston high-rises. In 2022, Brad obtained a multi-million-dollar judgment under the Massachusetts Prompt Payment Act, the first time a Massachusetts court enforced that law. He subsequently successfully argued the appeal and is considered a thought-leader in litigating and avoiding prompt payment claims.
