Overview
As an associate in RIW's Corporate Department and Mergers and Acquisitions group, Colby guides private businesses through complex change of control transactions, representing buyers and sellers in both strategic and financial transactions. Colby also serves as outside general counsel to a diverse array of businesses, advising clients through all phases of the business cycle, from corporate formation to liquidity events.
In addition to his corporate work, Colby works with RIW's Banking Department representing banks in sophisticated commercial lending transactions.
In 2022 Colby earned his J.D. from Boston University School of Law, where he served as an article editor for the Boston University Review of Banking and Financial Law.
